Colloidal Silver: Miracle Substance? Or not?

Colloidal Silver has been around for centuries and has always been thought to have tremendous health benefits; however, it was not widely known, and thus used only by a few people. Today, thanks to the internet, it has become the latest craze around the world, and especially in the Island of Jamaica where many people are attesting that Colloidal Silver Water marketed by Devon Hall has cured their various ailments.

But what is Colloidal Silver? And does it really have the ability to cure ailments?

There are three types of Colloidal Silver: Ionic Silver, Silver Protein, and True Colloidal Silver. Ionic Silver is a strong anti-microbial solution that contains a low percentage of silver particles. It is less expensive since it is not the best of the Colloids, and does appear clear in water. Silver Protein is a combination of metallic silver particles and a protein binder with high concentrations of colloidal silver – typically in the range of 30 to 20,000 ppm (parts per million). According to Dr. Mercola, “Of the three types of colloidal silver, silver protein products have the lowest particle surface area for a given silver concentration, making the silver inaccessible for safe and effective absorption by your body. Because of this, you want to avoid all silver protein products.” True Colloidal Silver is a solution where the majority of the silver content is in the form of silver particles containing between 50 and 80 percent particles, while the balance will be silver ions. It is the most expensive of the Colloids, and should never appear as clear as water. According to Dr. Mercola, “Because of the high concentration of silver particles, true silver colloids are never clear like water. True colloidal silver with a sufficient concentration of particles does not look like water because silver particles – even very small particles – block light from passing through, making the liquid appear darker.”

So, miracle substance or not? I have done my research and have concluded that since Colloidal Silver, unlike many drugs available today, is not known to kill anyone thus far, it is worth the trial. It has helped more people than harm them, and it would be highly beneficial if the Medical Industry and Authority will research thoroughly and be able to endorse or denounce it. Using the wrong Colloidal Silver can cause more harm than good; therefore, it is imperative to ascertain that the Colloidal Silver being used is the True Colloidal Silver. Do your research, and make informed decisions!

I’ve heard so much about this water, and it has been all positive. This means that there must be some value to it. Gotta check it out!
