How To Get Rid Of Roaches Indoor – Permanently

One of the most annoying creatures ever created has to be roaches.  Not only do they take over our living, breathing space, but they always choose to come out of hiding when our most important guests are visiting.  I have had so many run ins with them in the past, I have mastered how to get rid of them.  Here, I am sharing with you my proven method of ridding your home of these pests – permanently.

The first step is to use boric acid powder in combination with sweetened condensed milk.  This will eliminate the roaches at a faster pace, as the milk attract them to the mixture and the moment they eat it, it begins to eat at their inside.  The acid eats at the roaches from the inside out, leaving no trace of them to clean up.  Stake out the areas which are roach prone and safe from little children such as, under kitchen counter, behind refrigerator and stove etc., then cut pieces of foil wrap about 3” by 3” for each area you will be placing the bait.

Use a disposable cup or anything you can throw away after using, and add ¼ teaspoon sweetened condensed milk and ½ teaspoon water to every 1 teaspoon boric acid powder, and mix with a disposable spoon.  (Thus, if you have designated three places to leave baits, you will need to mix 3 teaspoons of boric acid powder with ¾ teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk and 1 and ½ teaspoons of water in the disposable container.)  Place 1 teaspoon of the mixture on each piece of foil you have cut and place them in the areas you deem safe.  The mixture should be more on the liquid side as it will get hard after a while.  Leave in the designated areas for at least seven days.  Also, be sure to leave the lights off in the kitchen at nights after you have set this mixture, as darkness is their biggest invitation and a time when the entire able bodied roach family get out of their nests to have a blast.

The boric acid mixture is for those roaches that are able to come out of their nests; there are always others that are not able to come out at times.  This next method is to ensure that the roaches that did not come out will get infected right there in their nests and die.

Purchase a package of Combat Source Kill and place them on top of cupboards, under kitchen counters, behind refrigerators and stoves.  This works like a charm!  When the roaches crawl into these little baits, some of the poison come off on them and is later transferred to the roaches that are in the nests, when they return home.  There is a variety of combat baits available, and they will need to be replaced over a period of time.  Some are designed for small or large roaches and to last for 3, 6, or 12 months.  I usually purchase the ones made to last for six months and keep them for a year.  Still the roaches never came back!

You can pretty much get boric acid powder in pharmacies or anywhere groceries are sold.  They come in various packages from different manufacturers but I have used several and they all get the job done right.  The combat baits can be found in pharmacies and some supermarkets as well.

If the first method is used alone, you will get rid of the roaches that are in your home, but soon the ones in the nests will find your home again, and the cycle will continue.  If the second method is used alone, you will get rid of the roaches both in your home and in their nests, but it will take a longer time to see them all disappear.  The two step combination is a knockout if you want to get rid of the roaches at a fast pace.

Bengal, raid, and other sprays will work with direct contact on the roaches, but they will not get to the source or all the roaches.  Moreover, they are very toxic and definitely not safe to be inhaled.  Also, there is no need to be inconvenienced, or give yourself more work by taking off baseboards etc. in search of the roaches. When you place these baits, the roaches will come out of their hiding and find them – especially at nights when the place is quiet and dark.  With the combination of my two proven methods, your home will remain toxin free while eliminating all roaches in your home and in their nest – permanently.

Go knock ‘em out!

Couple summers ago while visiting a friend in NY I was greeted by a host of roaches. Luckily I was staying in a hotel and did not have to be around them all the time. They are creepy and smelly and crawl on just about anything they see. I have not been back since.

I must share this blog post with him, hopefully it will work for him and get rid of those pests for good. Thanks for sharing!

Hi John, it is really not a nice experience for anyone involved in such a situation; the host is of course embarrassed while the guest is turned off and uncomfortable. This two step approach does work, and will get rid of them at a very fast pace.

Your friend will never have to see another roach in his house again, if he use this method, and you will be able to visit more often as you will not have to see them anymore.

      Thanks for your comment.

I just recently moved into my boyfriends apartment and it has roaches im terrified of any bugs!! I can’t sleep at all at nights because I am so scared of them crawling all over me. And if I do go to sleep I have to have a blanket covering every inch of my body I really hate sleeping like this and I’m so ready for a good night’s rest! I really hope and pray this works! Thank you for sharing this and I sure hell hope this works because we have tried an exterminator Bombs and Sprays nothing worked at all and a lot of people suggest the Boric acid so I will give your method a try!

Hi Lulu, please do give it a try. If you do exactly as I suggest, you will soon wonder “where did all the roaches go?”

The first thing you do is use the boric acid powder with the sweetened condensed milk (like I describe above) and place them throughout your home away from any children or pets. Then, place the combat source kill (like I describe above). Remember to leave the kitchen dark at nights after you put this method in place, so they can feel free to come out and have a feast.

The key here is to use the ‘two step method combination’ If you use one or the other, it will not work well.

From my experience, those sprays and bombs you mentioned that exterminators use, often multiply the roaches. It seems as if they contain something to breed them. The roaches are usually more after the exterminator do what he does. Also, those sprays will kill the roach on contact, but is it even possible to spray each roach? No, absolutely not.

When you place the boric acid powder with milk, the roaches will find it at their own pace – especially while you are asleep. When they crawl into the source kill, they take some of the poison on their body back to their nests, killing the roaches that are there.

This method absolutely works! It is such a sure solution to roach infestation, my friends are suggesting I take this post down and sell the information.

Please come back and let us know how this method work for you.

      All the best!

I am so glad I found this post again. Some time ago, I wrote on here about a friend whose house was plagued with roaches making it a huge inconvenience for me while I was visiting him in New York.

Well today, thanks to you Marie, his home is roach free for over a month now. He called me and was so ecstatic about not seeing any more roaches. He had so many roaches and they disappeared so quickly he is beside himself. I am so grateful I found this post and shared it with him, I can visit him with ease now, knowing I will not be violated by those crawlies again.

Again, thank you so much for sharing your method. You did not have to, but you did!

John, I am happy that you found this post too, and that you shared it with your friend and it helped him immensely. The first time I combined the procedures and they worked, I was beside myself too. I subsequently tried it with two of my friends who had roach issues, and it worked like a charm!

All the people that I have recommended this combo method to – to date, have been amazed at how quickly and thoroughly it works.

I am happy for you, that you will no longer be restricted from visiting your friend because of the huge roach problem he had. If he replace the combat source kill at least once per year, he will never have to live in roach infestation ever again.

All the best, and thank you so much for coming back and sharing how this method helped you.
